Growing Up Skipper Doll is one of the most well known of all the vintage Skipper dolls. Marketed as 2 dolls on 1 for twice as much fun, Growing up Skipper and her friend Ginger would grow taller and develop small breasts when their left arms were rotated forward, transforming them from a young girl to a teenager. In addition to Skipper and Ginger's original ensembles - which included outfits for both the girl and the teen versions, between 1975 and 1976 there were an addition 6 ensembles that also included outfits for both sizes of the dolls.

Vintage Skipper Rainy Day Checkers #1928 (1966) - This is what girls dresses looked like in this era and girls wore dresses most of the time. This plaid dress has white lace trim collar and cuffs and a pleated skirt. It has a red felt vest vest worn over it that has four tiny gold bead buttons.

Vintage Skipper Loungin' Lovelies #1930 (1966) - Skipper's blue pajamas from 1996 are fairly easy to find. Her PJs are made of a light turquoise blue tricot fabric and trim with lace braid and ribbon.

There were two different Quick Curl Skipper Dolls released between 1973 and 1977. The doll's hair contain metal fibers that make them style-able without any heat or any other tools. With the included curling wand, you could curl Skipper's hair easily. Includes pictures and complete descriptions of each doll, clothing and accessories.

Vintage Twist and Turn Skipper Doll was Barbie's cute little sister. There were three different versions of TNT Skipper between 1968 and 1970. In 1969, her hair style changed to sausage curl pigtails. TNT Skipper had a twist and turn waist, rooted eyelashes and was Made In Japan and Taiwan.

The dress is fairly easy to find. The black velvet cumberbund style belt is very hard to find. The white long half slip has eyelet lace trim is also harder to find.
