Original 24 Liddle Kiddles

These were the first Liddle Kiddles introduced. They were made by Mattel from 1966 to 1968. They were packaged on cardboard inside a clear plastic bubble.  Each doll had rooted hair and came with accessories and a storybook, most of them came with a comb.  They are 2½ to 3½ inches tall, and have poseable arms and legs.  They are all marked : 1965, Mattel, Inc. Japan.

Babe Biddle #3505 (1966 - 1967)

Babe Biddle Liddle Kiddle"

Her red jacket has a white collar with blue stitching.  There is a tab closure at the waist with two gold beads.  

A variation rarely found (pictured to the right) and thought to be from 1966, includes solid blue ties instead of red on her scarf, white stitching on her skirt and dark blue soft shoes with molded white laces.  Another variation occasionally seen is red and white striped ties on her scarf.

Babe Biddle Variation

Babe Biddle's stock number is 3505 and she was sold in 1966 and 1967.  She is 3 inches tall and is one of the first ten Liddle Kiddles introduced in 1966.  She has dark brown rooted hair with bangs and blue eyes

Her clothing included a Gingham bodysuit with an attached blue skirt, a red jacket, a blue head scarf with red ties and blue T-strap shoes. 

She also came with a yellow brush and comb set and a storybook.    Her book has Babe and Millie Middle on the cover.

1966 Babe Biddle Liddle Kiddle

Babe Biddle came with a yellow convertible sports car with red interior and a clear plastic windshield. The windshield is frequently missing.

Baby Liddle Kiddle #3587 (1968) - Sears Exclusive

Baby Liddle Kiddle

Baby Liddle Kiddle is a Sears Exclusive Kiddle from 1968.  Because of that, she is one of the hardest Kiddles to find today.

She came with a storybook, but she is not on the cover, I assume because she was a Sears exclusive - she and Beat-A-Diddle are the only two of the original 24 who are not on the cover of their accompanying storybooks.

Baby Liddle Kiddle

Baby is 2⅞" tall and is partially bald with blonde curly hair on top and blue eyes.  She has a pink bow in her hair and is wearing a two-piece pink sundress and comes with a blue baby carriage with white wheels.  

She has a lace trimmed pillow made of the same fabric as her dress and also came with a piece of yellow and blue foam in the bottom of her carriage.  She also came with a dark pink comb and brush.

Beat A Diddle #3510 (1966 - 1967) Sears Exclusive

1966 Beat A Diddle Liddle Kiddle

She came with a brown guitar with yellow flowers painted on it and a red ribbon guitar strap. She also came with a silver microphone and stand.

There were several variations in the black floral print (different prints and/or sizes of flowers) of her outfit and a very rare red variation. (The red variation is pictured on the left.)

1966 Beat A Diddle Liddle Kiddle

Beat A Diddle (the Rock Star Kiddle) is a Sears Exclusive Liddle Kiddle sold in 1966 and 1967. She is one of the first ten Kiddles introduced in 1966.

She has long blonde hair with bangs and big blue eyes.  She is 3½" tall and is wearing a black 2 piece outfit with a floral print cropped top and pants and red t-strap shoes.

Because she was a Sears Exclusive, there were fewer made and she can be harder to find. Also, she did not have her own Kiddles storybook - it appears she came with a random book - as I have noticed that different MOC dolls seem to have different books.

Beddy Bye Biddle #3548 (1967)

Beddy Bye Biddle

Beddy-Bye has long blonde hair with bangs and a pink hair ribbon.  She is wearing a pink nightgown and has a yellow bed with a pink and blue floral bedspread and pillow.  The headboard of the bed is marked Liddle Kiddles.

Beddy Bye Biddle was made in 1967 and 1968. She was first sold as a Sears exclusive in 1967.   She is 3" tall and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

The Sears exclusive version also had a pink robe and a different book.  The Sears version had Trikey Triddle, Surfy Skiddle and Sizzly Friddle on the cover.  The later version had Beddy Bye, Pretty Priddle and Rolly Twiddle on the cover.

Bunson Burnie #3501 (1966 - 1967)

He came with a red firetruck with a black steering wheel and white ladders on the side. The steering wheel and tires all turn.

His firetruck is marked Liddle Kiddles on the bumper and is also marked Japan underneath. His book features him and Calamity Jiddle.

He was sold in 1966 and 1967 is one of the first ten Liddle Kiddles introduced in 1966. He is 3" tall and has red hair and big blue eyes.

He is wearing a yellow vinyl fireman's raincoat - it has two hooks in the front. He is also wearing khaki pants with a loop and button closure and black soft shoes (they are marked Japan on the bottom). His big red firemans hat has a "Fire Chief" paper sticker.


Calamity Jiddle #3506 (1966 - 1967)

Calamity Jiddle, the Cowgirl Liddle Kiddle, is one of the original 10 Kiddles introduced in 1966.  She is 2⅞" tall and has a blonde ponytail and blue eyes.

Her cowgirl outfit includes a huge black felt hat with a gold cord band and strap, a red jumpsuit with a gold bead closure, white vinyl stitched with red collar, cuffs and skirt.  The fringed skirt is detachable and also has two gold beads.  She is also wearing white vinyl cowgirl boots, marked Japan on the bottom.

Calamity Jiddle Liddle Kiddle

Calamity rides a rocking tan palomino horse with black spots.  It has a red harness, saddle and rockers.  There were two versions of the horse - one with a high saddle back and one with a low back.  The rocker is marked Liddle Kiddles on the outside left and ©1966 Mattel, Inc. Japan on the inside right. 

Her comb and brush are blue and her book has her and Bunson Burnie on the cover.

Florence Niddle #3507 (1966 - 1967)

Her nurse's uniform is a sleeveless pink dress with white rick-rac trim at the hem, a red cross marked white vinyl apron and a white nurse's cap wiith red trim.  She wears pink T-strap shoes.  Her panties are either pink and white gingham or pink and white polka dots.

Nurse Florence Niddle is one of the original ten Liddle Kiddles from 1966.  She is 3" tall and has auburn hair and blue eyes.  Her hair is pulled back in a low ponytail.  (She is frequently found with her hair loose, as the rubber bands tend to disintegrate over time.)

She has a a tiny baby wrapped in a either pink or floral print lace trimmed blanket and a yellow baby stroller with a white hood that is marked Liddle Kiddles.book has her, Liddle Diddle and Greta Griddle on the cover.  Her brush and comb are pink.

Freezy Sliddle  #3516 (1967)

She came with a blue snow sled with a seatbelt and white runners.  It had a white cord on the front.  It has Liddle Kiddles embossed on the inside.

Freezy Sliddle was sold in 1967.  She has auburn hair with bangs and big brown eyes.   She is 3½" tall, her stock number is 3516. 

Her book has Freezy along with Windy Fliddle, Rolly Twiddle and Soapy Siddle on the cover.  She did not come with a brush/comb.

She is wearing a blue two piece snow suit with pink furry trim and white braid.  The top has the mittens attached.  She is wearing a hat that matches her snow suit and has pink tights and white plastic boots. 


Greta Griddle  #3508 (1966)

She has either a pink or yellow plastic table with an embossed tablecloth & "Liddle Kiddles" on top.  She also comes with two chairs - either pink or yellow - with a heart cut out on the back of the chair. 

She also has a pink or yellow scalloped platter with tea pot and two tea cups with attached fork and spoon. The tea pot set and chairs are always the same color (pink or yellow) and the table is always the other color (pink tea set and chairs = yellow table, yellow tea set and chairs = pink table).

Greta Griddle was one of the original ten Liddle Kiddles.  She was sold in 1966 only.  She is 3½ inches tall and has a blonde hair and blue eyes.

She is wearing a sleeveless blue dress with white polka dots, matching panties and white T-strap shoes.  The dress has two ruffles made from white tulle at the hem and a dark pink flower appliqué.

Along with Greta, Liddle Diddle and Florence Niddle are on the cover of her book. She came with a blue brush and comb.

Howard "Biff" Boodle #3502 (1966)

He comes with a wagon with a rubber band seat belt and marked Liddle Kiddles on the inside.  The wagon has black wheels and is either yellow with a red handle or red with a yellow handle. (The white t-shirt and red wagon pictured above are more rare.)

Biff and Lola Liddle are on the cover of his book.  He came with a yellow brush and comb.

Biff Boodle was one of the original ten Liddle Kiddles.  He was sold in 1966 only.  He is 3½ inches tall and has a blonde hair and brown eyes.

Biff is all boy and is wearing either a white or yellow short sleeve t-shirt with "Just Call Me Biff" printed in red.  He is also wearing blue jeans with a button fly and a squishy red vinyl baseball cap.  He is barefoot and did not come with shoes.


Kampy Kiddle #3553 (1968)

Kampy came with a red plaid sleeping bag with yellow lining and two yellow cords to tie it closed.  She also has a tan plastic fishing pole with a green plastic fish and a black plastic frying pan.  A pink sticker that says "Kiddle Sleeping Bag" was attached to the sleeping bag, it is very rare to find.  Rare variations found are a yellow fish and a real wooden pole.

Kampy Kiddle is the tomboy Kiddle.  She was sold in 1968 only.  She is 3½ inches tall and has a blonde hair with bangs, green eyes and freckles.  The front part of her hair is pulled back with a red cord bow.

She is wearing a yellow ribbed sleeveless shell and pull on elastic waist jeans.  She is barefoot.

Kampy is on the cover of her book along with Lemons Stiddle, Slipsy Sliddle and Rolly Twiddle.  She did not come with a brush/comb.


Lemons Stiddle #3752 (1968)

She has a green plastic lemonade stand that says "Cool Lemonade" on top and 5¢ a glass on the front.  Her plastic pitcher and two glasses came in either clear or yellow

Lemons is on the cover of her book along with Kampy Kiddle, Slipsy Sliddle and Rolly Twiddle.  She did not come with a brush/comb.

Lemons was sold in 1968 only.  She is 3½ inches tall and has long lemony blonde hair with bangs and brown eyes.

She wears a red dress with white hearts, lace trimmed short-sleeves and matching panties.  She also has a yellow and blue apron with yellow ribbon tie, red painted on socks and white T-strap shoes.


Liddle Diddle #3503 (1966 - 1967)

She is wearing a pink and white footed sleeper with a blue cord trim that ties at the back of the neck.  There are at least three variations found in the sleeper - they have been found in a pink and white gingham style check print, a white sleeper with pink polka dots and a white sleeper with pink checks and stitching.

Liddle Diddle also came with a pink plastic crib with sliding rails that move up and down along with a strand of multi-color beads attached to one of the rails.  She also has a blanket and pillow, there are many variations in the size and colors.  The blankets came in different sizes in pink, white, blue and blue and white striped.  The pink pillow also varies in size and can be found with and without lace trim.

Liddle Diddle is one of the first ten original Liddle Kiddles and was sold in 1966 and 1967.  She is a baby, is 2⅞" tall, has blonde hair with a top curl secured with a pink ribbon and blue eyes.

She came with a yellow plastic ducky and a yellow brush and comb.  In addition to Liddle Diddle, her book also has Greta Griddle and Florence Niddle on the cover.

Lola Liddle #3504 (1966 - 1967)

She came with a sailboat that is yellow on the outside, red on the inside and has a white sail.  Liddle Kiddles and the Mattel seal are embossed on the largest sail.

Her book has her along with Biff Boodle on the cover.  She came with a pink brush and comb.

Lola Liddle is also one of the first ten original Liddle Kiddles and was sold in 1966 and 1967.   She is 3½" tall with very long straight blonde hair and brown eyes.

Her sailor ensemble consists of a sleeveless red top with a white collar.  It is stitched in red and has a blue cord bow and trim. There are two blue star appliqués on the back of the collar.  Her white bell bottom pants are also stitched in red and she came either barefoot or with white T-strap shoes.  She also has a white soft vinyl sailor's cap.


Millie Middle #3509 (1966)

She is wearing a colorblocked pink and blue sleeveless playsuit with a matching bonnet.  It has green ribbon trim and ties that vary in color between dark green and lime green.  She is barefoot.

(Her outfit is the same colors and fabric as Skipper's 1966 Country Picnic.)

She is on the cover of her book along with Babe Biddle.  She came with a blue brush and comb set.

Millie Middle is another one of the first ten original Liddle Kiddles and was sold in 1966.   She is 2⅞" tall and has brunette hair styled into pigtails with bangs and brown eyes. 

Millie comes with a green or yellow sandbox with a yellow and orange awning.  She also came with a pink plastic pail and shovel.


Pretty Priddle #3549 (1967 - 1968)

She came with a pink plastic vanity and stool.  It has a heart shaped mirror and molded bows and scalloped trim.

The 1968 version has Pretty on the cover of her book along with Beddy-Bye Biddle and Telly Viddle.  She came with a blue brush & comb.

Pretty Priddle was sold in 1967 as a Sears Exclusive and in 1968 in the mass market.  She is 3½" tall and has brunette hair styled into an updo with a aqua blue ribbon and brown eyes.

She is wearing a sleeveless aqua blue shorts set.  The top has white ribbon straps and a ribbon bow and it is trimmed in white lace.  The shorts are a matching aqua blue and she is also wearing white T-strap shoes.


Rolly Twiddle #3519 (1967 - 1968)

Her outfit is a sleeveless sunsuit with a white bib top and green and white gingham check bottoms.  Her top is trimmed  a pink bow, three pink bead buttons and pink cord.  She is wearing white T-strap shoes.

Rolly has a wagon that can be found in three different color variations - pink wagon with orange handle, orange wagon with pink handle and magenta wagon with orange handle (harder to find).

All wagons have a rubber band seatbelt and have Liddle Kiddles embossed on the inside.  She also came with a pail and shovel the same color as the wagon handle.


The only African-American original Liddle Kiddle, Rolly Twiddle is 3½" tall and has brown hair pulled up into a ponytail on top of her head with a green satin ribbon and pink flower with a pearl center.  She has brown eyes.

She is on the cover of her book along with Soapy Siddle, Freezy Sliddle and Windy Fliddle.  She came with a blue brush and comb.

Slipsy Sliddle #3754 (1968)

Slipsy Sliddle is wearing an aqua blue crop top with matching bell bottom pants.  The top has a yellow ruffle and pink bow.  Her outfit is completed with white T-strap shoes.

She comes with a pink plastic slide with ladder.

Slipsy Sliddle is 3½" tall and has blue eyes with pigtails tied with yellow ribbons.  Her hair color varies with different shades of browns and reds, even bright orange.

She is on the cover of her book along with Kampy Kiddle, Lemons Stiddle and Rolly Twiddle.  She did not come with a brush/comb.


Soapy Siddle #3518 (1967)

She came with a gold plastic antique style bathtub with white cotton "bubbles", a yellow towel and a gold talc powder box (the same as Barbie's Singing in the Shower.)

Soapy is on the cover of her book along with Rolly Twiddle, Freezy Sliddle and Windy Fliddle.  She came with a white brush and comb.

Soapy Siddle is 3½" tall and has brunette hair and blue eyes.  She has bangs and her hair is styled in a side ponytail with a red ribbon.

She wears a red and white striped bathrobe with a terry cloth white collar and red tie belt. It is made out of the same fabric as Ken's Beach Jacket. She has matching red and white terry cloth slippers with white pompons.

Surfy Skiddle #3517 (1967)

She comes with a yellow and red surfboard that sits atop a stand with dark blue and white "waves".  The board is marked Liddle Kiddles and also has slots to hold her feet in place. 

She also came with a pink and white floral print terry cloth beach towel.

She is wearing a two-piece hot pink vinyl swimsuit.  It is trimmed in navy blue.  She also has blue plastic sunglasses.
