Barbie 1966 #13

She is Barbie. On her head there is no head stamp. On her back by her waist it reads:
Mattell, Inc.
13 1966 Korea

She also has a Twist and Turn body and one arm is bent into shape with a finger to place a ring in. I don't know if it is an original or an original head stuck onto the body. Please help!

Hi Bonnie -
It looks like you have a Swirl Ponytail Barbie head on a later body. Barbies were made in Korea from 1973 to 1978 - so the body would be from that time period.

Barbie clone
by: Liz

No, this is not a swirl but a Barbie clone. She's very nice, but unfortunately not a "genuine" Barbie.

(Note from Suzanne - On closer inspection, I can tell it is a clone - thanks for pointing that out - it is a good clone - most do not look that good!
Thanks again-
Suzanne)
