Barbie Identification: Who are these two dolls?

Dolls 1 & 2

I have been trying to identify a couple of dolls that years ago belonged to my younger sisters. I am really having trouble as there are so many face molds and friends of Barbie, nothing really is exactly a match, so I am unsure of who they really are. I appreciate any help anyone can give me!

Doll 1: A platinum blonde, Twist 'N Turn bendable leg doll. Her hair has small wires among the strands of hair, and she has a hair piece (also interspersed with wire) that can be attached by way of a small piece of velcro and orange ribbon. Her body information reads: ? © 1966 MATTEL INC. U.S.& FOREIGN PATENTED OTHER PATS PENDING. MADE IN TAIWAN.?

She does not have any identifying clothes, and I do not see any other markings on her head or body.

Doll 2: This doll's head sort of looks like she might be a Francie with a short, blonde flip, but her body is definitely not a Francie body. It looks more like a full 12" Barbie type, and it reads: ? © 1966 MATTEL, INC. U.S PATENTED U.S. PAT. PEND MADE IN JAPAN.?

There are no markings on the head, despite some green spots, she has really nice face paint and good condition rooted eyelashes. The body is a Twist 'N Turn and she has bendable legs.

Could a different head been put on the body? Or am I just really really bad at telling who is who?

Thank you!

Hi Lisa - The second doll is definitely a Francie head that has been placed on a Barbie body.

Not sure about the first one, maybe someone else will know.
