Hi there. I found this Barbie at a Gibralter around the corner from my house. I really know nothing about it and would really appreciate some help.
She has no bangs, but there is a strange line at the top of her forehead. Her hair is blond and is pulled into a bun at the top of her head. Her eyes are really scratched up and appear to have been repainted. And her body is made of a really light plastic (I think). Somethings odd with her lips as well, there is some kind of gouge between them I think. I am new to being a Barbie collector, so I don't know much of anything. I would love any helpful information you could provide!
Hi Alexandra - This is not a Barbie - it is a "clone" - which is the term used to describe the cheaper Barbie knock-offs or copies made in the same era. Many companies tried to capitalize on Barbie's popularity by making their own versions and selling them at cheaper prices. Suzanne
