My question is; I purchased a color Magic head (only). The head does NOT have the (c) Mattel 1958 on the rim of her head? Does this mean it is a reproduction? The seller is waiting for me to leave them feed back, i was emailed and told that they could NOT receive the payment for this purchase until i leave them feed. so could you please Help Me! Hi Tammy - Every reference source I have indicates that the inner rim of the Color Magic Barbie was marked (c) Mattel 1958. But there are always variations. The Color Magic heads being sold on eBay look vintage to me - they do not look like the Mattel Color Magic Reproduction (which had dark hair). You would be able to tell by looking at the inside if it was a reroot instead of factory original hair. Suzanne
