Question About Barbie Tags and Shoe Markings

Can someone please tell me about the tags and markings. I know black and white tags are the oldest and TM are harder to find than R. I know shoes marked Japan are most desirable and ones with holes in them are for the first outfits. But what comes next? I have seen Genuine barbie tags and purple barbie tags and shoes marked Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, China, etc.

Can someone please give me the order of when these were made or which are next best after Japan. Or even a link to a site or book explaining the History of the Barbie markings.
