The talking busy barbie I bought is a Walking busy barbie?

Hello I need help to Identification of my vintage barbie.

I bought a vintage talking busy, but see is not! Here body is a walking body, I can see she is all original. The clothes she is wearing cannot be off. I have looked on the internet and I cannot find these barbie on this body. My question is do you know anything about her?

Hi Frieda --
It looks like Busy Talking Barbie's head & original outfit. I would say that at some point her head was switched to a different body - could have even been done by the original owner - I know I use to change the heads & bodies on my Barbie dolls when I played with them.

Switched head

The head can be removed. The soft vinyl heads which were easily removable have hardened with age, making it more difficult to pull off. But when this doll was new the head could have easily been taken off by a child. It is very common to find talker heads on different bodies because the talk mechanism broke so easily and the legs on talkers would fall off...but their faces were so pretty, so kids and parents would put the talker's head on a different body and throw the broken talker body away. I repair Talking Barbie dolls and have years of experience with them, and I encounter mixed up dolls all the time. I hope this info is helpful. :o)

I have one that I bought years ago. that I thought someone switched the head dont know how it would come off maybe they did make these dolls on walking busy barbie boddies now I see yours . I dint have the outfit but the headband on mine is still attached .

The head on the body moves to when you move here arms and here legs. I think it is original because you can't remove the head from here body.
