Superstar Barbie Reproduction

Superstar Barbie Reproduction was issued in 2009 in celebration of Barbie's 50th anniversary. Superstar Barbie is very important in Barbie's history. When she was introduced in 1977, she brought a new look to Barbie that would last for over 20 years. She had a smile (with teeth) and long flowing blonde hair.

This reproduction is wearing Superstar Barbie's original outfit - a pink satin long halter dress with a pink boas. Also included is a black dress, shoes and boa, along with a reproduction booklet and 50th anniversary collectible cards that portray a vintage image reproductions on one side and Barbie facts on the back.

This is the fifth in the My Favorite Barbie series, a series of six vintage Barbie reproductions to celebrate Barbie's 50th. It was released in January 2009 with a retail price tag of $39.95.
