This elegant ensemble is a favorite of collectors.  It is rumored to be inspired by one of Ruth Hadler's (Barbie's creator) favorite ensembles.  The black sleeveless dress is made of silk shantung and has a back zipper.  The tulle cape is the hardest piece to find, and it is often found with the ties torn or missing or holes in the tulle.  The vintage tulle can be very fragile - handle with care!  The short black gloves are also hard to find, because they were only included in a few ensembles.
