Vintage Barbie O-Boy Corduroy

Out of all of the ensembles from 1972, I have come across this more than any other. It is much easier to find than most outfits from this year.

The dark blue crepe blouse is the "granny" style that was popular them. It has a high neck and a white ribbon accent with a red "brooch". (Remember how we use to wear pins on ribbons as chokers? I had forgotten about that!)

The long, maxi-length jumper is made of a red corduroy with white over-stitching. The bodice is trimmed with red crocheted type braid.

The white boots are the regular Barbie white lace up boots with the laces painted red. I created a pair for my Barbie once by simply going over the laces with a fine point red art marker - it worked great!
