Vintage Barbie Peasant Dressy #3438 (1971 - 1972)

Multi-floral Print Velvet Midi-dress with Lace-up Bodice and Purple Velvet Waist
White Eyelet Petticoat
Brown Laced Knee-high Boots

The peasant style was all the rage in the early 1970s and this ensemble captures it perfectly! It combines the peasant styling with the midi-length skirt and the mod colors and prints from the era. This one had it goin' on!

The dress is made of brushed tricot fabric. The bodice is laced with yellow cord. The white pettitcoat has a white eyelet hem and camisole, yellow cord straps and bow trim.

This one is hard to find and as you can see from the photos, there are wide variations in the fabric prints and colors.
