always thought this was an unusual outfit, but it is very reminiscent of the
late 1960s - with the yellow and red mini-floral print and matching hat.
I always think of this as the "pre-Mod" era - when things weren't quite
"normal" - but they weren't quite out-and-out mod yet.
While not considered rare by any means, like
many 1600 series ensembles this one can be hard to find, especially because
it was only made for one year. When found. the most problematic item
is usually the elastic on the skirt - when can be stretched out or
disintegrated.
