Vintage Barbie Closed Toe Heels first appeared in 1965.
They are generally the most valuable vintage Barbie shoes. The shoes
should both have Japan on the bottom. Some have an extra high (or
spiked) heel and are called spikes by collectors. These are the most
rare and therefore the most valuable.
